Becoming a Dunham Woods Riding Club Member

Get to know us. Dunham Woods is a private country club and membership will require sponsorship. We welcome your interest, and invite you to contact us for a tour of the facility and complete membership information.

Sponsor provides an application and membership packet to the prospective member. Once application is complete, the sponsor or prospective member submits it to the club office.

Sponsor writes one letter of Sponsorship for the Prospective and asks three members who know the candidate to write separate letters as recommendation and send to the club office. Four letters must be submitted for the application to be complete.

Club membership committee arranges a cocktail party for the prospective member to meet the club’s board of directors. Sponsors are invited to attend. Then the board votes for posting of the candidate for a 30-day period. During this time a prospective member may obtain a charge number to begin using the club.

Once the 30-day posting has occurred, the board makes a final vote to grant membership. Upon acceptance of the new member, the initiation fee is paid and a permanent member number is assigned. Welcome to the Club!
